Do I need previous hair extension experience?
No. The Complete Hair Extension Course is designed to teach the core theory and practical techniques for Nano Bonds, Tape Extensions and Sew-In Wefts. Individual courses can also be taken separately if you only want to learn one method.
What extension methods are included in the Complete Course?
The Complete Course covers Nano Bonds, Tape Extensions and Sew-In Weft, alongside colour matching, blending, maintenance, removal, client care and business guidance.
Do I receive a training kit?
Yes. Courses purchased with a kit include the relevant training tools and products needed to practice the method. The Complete Course includes a full multi-method training kit.
Is the course online?
Yes. The training is completed online through Novae Hair Academy and includes written theory, practical demonstration videos, knowledge checks and practical assessments.
Do I have to complete practical work?
Yes. Practical evidence is required for the extension methods so your application can be reviewed before successful course completion.
Can I complete practical assessment on a training head?
Yes. Practical work can be completed on a suitable training head or live model unless otherwise stated within the course.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. A certificate is issues once the required course content and practical assessments have been successfully completed.
Can I get insurance after completing the course?
Insurance requirements vary between providers. You should always check with your chosen insurer that they accept your qualification and cover specific extension methods you intend to offer.
Can I apply for a professional trade account?
Many suppliers allow qualified extensionists to apply for trade accounts. Please check with each supplier for their own requirements.
How long do I have to complete the course?
You will have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete the course.
What happens if I need help during the course?
Students can contact Novae Hair Academy for support with course content and practical assessment questions.
Are course payments refundable?
Course purchases are non-refundable once access to digital training has begun. By choosing to access the course immediately, you agree to the digital content being supplied before the end of the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right to cancel once supply begins.
Where a training kit is included, any statutory rights related to physical goods are unaffected. This does not affect your legal rights where a product or service is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights.
